JPL's new online Space Gallery captures the beauty of Earth, the solar system and the Universe in a single web site. A scrollable image navigation makes browsing easy, and users can view individual planet "galleries" as slide shows. JPL Open House: May 3 and 4
JPL rolls out the welcome mat for the public this weekend, May 3 and 4. Highlights for this year's Open House include watching 700-pound robots glide under artificial stars in the Robodome and close-up views of models of Mars rovers - past, present and future. Children will be able to participate in many hands-on activities. The free event runs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.
